Akpabio assures Weightlifting of support
Gov GodswillAkpabio yesterday declared open the Uyo 2013 National weightlifting championship with a pledge to coninue supporting the game. The governor who was represented by the permanent secretary in charge of sports Dr Mrs Ime Umodioh said he is impressed with the performance of the country in weightlifting assuring that he throws his weight behind the game to sustain the country,s excellent showing.
