Odemwingie keen to impress at Cardiff
CARDIFF (AFP) - Peter Odemwingie is eager to get back to playing football following his £2.5 million ($3.8 million) transfer deadline day move to Cardiff City from English Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion. The 32-year-old Nigeria striker found himself on the sidelines at The Hawthorns after his infamous attempt to engineer a move to Queens Park Rangers by driving to the London club's Loftus Road ground at the close of the January transfer window. However, that move collapsed and Odemwingie was obliged to stay with Midlands side Albion.
