Why Delta State instituted Chief Clark wrestling — Amaju
By Solomon Nwoke, Warri Delta State Sports Commission, Pinnick Amaju has said that Delta State decided to organize the National Open Wrestling Championship in honour of Chief E K Clark, who he described a symbol of unity in Nigeria. Amaju, who was at the Brown Hills Events Centre venue to inspect facilities, in readiness for the competition, starting today with a Greco-Roman style of wrestling, gave kudos to the organizers and said that the state was very passionate about wrestling.
